ChackchoukaChevrettes Combaya, Origin: Reunion
500g prawns,peeled
4large tomatoes,cut into thin slices
4onions,cut into thin slices
1head of garlic, peeled and crushed
1/2 tsp grated turmeric
1tsp powdered Kaffir lime leaves
60ml vegetable oil

Heat oil in a pan,add prawns and fry until pink.Add turmeric,garlic/onion and fry for about 3 min.Add tomatoes. Bring to a simmer,cover the pot for 10mins
Stir in powdered kaffir lime leaves,Serve.
